Full Name: Almalexia Ar’Noren Nickname(s)/Title(s): The Conjuring Crusader Race: Moon Elf ( Maedelsa) Age: [elven adulthood, born on New Years] Sex: Female Height: 5’5’’ Weight: 120 Build: Lean but strong Skin: pale tan Eyes: Gold Hair: Black with silver streaks through it Tattoos, Piercings, Marks, Scars, etc.: Almalexia wears six metal earrings and a silver flame brooch which serve as material focus points for her magic and will glow while she is casting. Religion: A devout follower of Creation. Class: Conjuration Specialist Occupation(s): Formerly the right hand of Caria the Conjurer, recently promoted to Grand Mage of Conjuration Political Affiliation(s): “For Creation and Country” is Almalexia’s personal motto. She is fiercely loyal to Avalendor, but oftentimes feels the royalty does not have the best interest of the people at heart. Education: Extremely well-educated in magical matters as well as battle strategy, tactics, and humanoid behavior, Almalexia is the ideal commander to take charge following Caria’s unfortunate passing. Language(s): Elven, Common, Celestial, Infernal, and Draconic. Special Abilities/Skills: Almalexia’s style of casting is slightly different from her fellow mages, relying on the movements of her body to channel her power. Those who have witnessed her casting liken it to a form of martial art. Further, she is quite skilled with her elven longbow, called the Soul of the North, which is made of the same material as her earrings and brooch and similarly glows while she is channeling power through it. She also keeps an elven cavalry sword which she calls the Heart of the South, though this is more a mark of status as a leader and is only used for melee in close combat situations. (Soul of the North) (Heart of the South) Hobbies: War games are Almalexia’s favorite pastime, and it is rumored that she has never been beaten. She also enjoys exotic teas and reading (specifically historical documents and battlefield theory). Her favorite book beyond the religious writings of her church is a tome entitled “The Duty of the Faithful” which outlines the behaviors expected of a knight of justice including a heavy analysis of the dichotomy of right and wrong. Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions/Disorders/Disabilities: Almalexia is so devoted to the cause of good that she cannot see that she is in fact a bigot, something of a tyrant, hard and unreadable, and absolutely without mercy for lawbreakers. She has little patience for misbehavior and will always but duty before other considerations. She has surrendered Necromancy and Enchantment in order to pursue her path, as she finds them both wicked and evil. Current Relationship Status: The truly faithful are chaste. Other Biographical Remarks: Born in the final stages of the conflict between the Moon Elves and the Eveleigh Empire, Almalexia has been witness to terrible acts of cruelty and violence against her people by ravagers and mercenaries who would take advantage of her poor, war-torn village. The worst was when a group of Imperial Wizards came and destroyed her home, taking her newborn sister from her cradle and leaving Almalexia for dead. At a very young age, she found comfort in the church of Creation, where she swore to punish the wicked and smite evil, even if it meant repaying cruelty with cruelty. When elven girls were called to serve the Empire, she quickly volunteered as she believed it would be a chance to fulfill her promise to the gods. She was among the hardest working students the Rainbow Tower had ever seen and it was not long before she chose the path of the Conjurer so that she might direct an army to crush the hordes of darkness that threaten all that is right and just. The Grand Mage, Caria the Conjurer saw something in her and took the maturing elf under her wing as a personal guard and ward. This only heightened Almalexia’s resolve. Now, with the passing of her mentor, the self-fashioned Conjuring Crusader is ready to claim her place as the newest Grand Mage. Her first mission? To seek out her mentor’s killer and bring see that they face justice.
